“Thanks so much for attending our event and sharing your storey with us this past weekend…all of our committee members n teams really appreciate you honoring us with your presence!”
Dear Captain Dee,
I just want to thank you for an interesting evening. Thank you so much for taking the trouble to come out speak to the children. They all have enjoyed it.
Hello Captain Dee-Fense!!!
I met you this past Saturday at the ESPN Zone and mentioned we were looking for a guest speaker for our 5th grade promotion ceremony on Tuesday, June 15th at 9am. I know the kids would be truly inspired to hear from a former member of the United States Navy and an inductee to the Pro Football Hall of Fame – not to mention that we have quite a few Ravens fans. We would just need you to be present until about 9:15 am and to provide a 5 to 10 minute speech. I see that you have written on your card, For the children, “Education is The Key of Life”. I couldn’t agree with you more and that would make for a great theme! If you are available and could take the time to visit our school and send our 5th graders off to middle school, I’d truly appreciate it and so would my fellow staff members, students and parents. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Sincerely, Tricia Kerner – 5th grade teacher
THANK YOU SO MUCH for speaking yesterday!!!!
The kids talked about you all day and continue to today!!! The parents were very impressed and were so happy that you took your time to congratulate all the students personally (most guest speakers leave as soon as they finish speaking).
They also said you should do this regularly! You really know what to say to children and your message was strong!!! Like I said yesterday, everyone meets for a reason and I’m so glad we had that opportunity!! Hopefully we will meet up again sometime soon!!! Perhaps we will see you on the field!
With much gratitude – Trish Kerner
